Mm London Fog..

Who doesn't love a good London Fog? And wouldn't you love it even more if you could make it yourself? I stumbled upon this quick and easy recipe to make your own! Most of the ingredients can already be found in your fridge and cupboard. You do have to have an espresso machine or some other form of a steamer so that you can steam your milk. The recipe is as follows:

1 Earl Grey Tea Bag
1/2 Mug Boiling water
1/2 Mug Steamed Milk (1% or 2%, your choice)
1 Tbsp. Brown Sugar
1/2 Tsp. Vanilla Extract

All I did was measure out the water and put the teabag in it so that it could seep while I steamed my milk. I also added the vanilla and the brown sugar, and stirred it up a little bit. I didn't have a thermometer at the time to make sure my milk was the right temperature,  so I just basically played it by ear. I steamed mine for about 2 minutes, and  waited until the foam was at the top of my measuring cup. Combined with the milk it was the perfect temperature. I poured the milk in, being careful not to pour the foam in right away. I then spooned a scoop or two of the foam on the top and Voila! I had a perfect, delicious London Fog, that I made myself! Just thought I would share this recipe with all you tea lovers out there :)
